Principal Penny Nash
Upperman High School is a wonderful home to so many present and past students, faculty, and staff. Our foundations are built on Truth, Honor, Loyalty, and Service. From that foundation we strive to instill commitment to the betterment of oneself and the community in which we live.
I take pride in that my parents were products of Baxter Seminary, that I am a product of Upperman High School, and that through the opportunities of serving as a teacher and administrator, I can help guide our youth to become stronger individuals academically and more engaged community members. We welcome you to our school and hope we can be a positive influence and a great service to you.
Mrs. Penny Nash
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL TERRY DARNELL
From Mr. Darnell:
A visitor on campus this morning made a special point to stop and address me. He stated "...he was touched by the reverence shown during the moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance being led in our school." He noted it brought tears to his eyes as well as memories of his school days in the 1960's. He was truly appreciative of this moment at the start of our school day.
We are very fortunate to work in a great school with a great faculty, staff and student body!
Way to go Bees!
